Enzian Theater in Orlando–the best in the nation alternative cinema! Coming into town? Join us for a great movie in comfortable, delightful surroundings.
This wonderful place has been here in Central Florida for over 25 years. My family and I go there every chance we get, especially during their cutting edge Florida Film Festival in April of every year.
A single screen cinema cafe, the Enzian shows independent, foreign and cult classic movies. Member supported, it’s a nonprofit organization dedicated to entertaining, inspiring, educating, and connecting the community through film.
Besides the Florida Film Festival, here’s a sample of what Enzian supports:
- A KidsFest
- A Jewish Fest
- A South Asian Fest
- Open air Popcorn Flicks
Enzian seats 230 people in very comfortable chairs while offering food and drink right at your table. The staff does an excellent job and as they say themselves, Enzian is “A fusion of film and food.” If you get a membership, you can even call to reserve a table.
Just want to hang out before or after a movie? The Eden Bar is the place to be. Relaxed and casual, it has that neighborhood pub atmosphere. Oh, its outside but under cover. In that way, you can enjoy the beautifully lighted oaks, landscaping and fountain during the evening.
Maybe we’ll see you there one day.
