When I was in 2nd grade I went to the lighthouse on a field trip and meet the lady in white. She was really pretty but scared me at first, I screamed at the top of my lungs at the first 5 steps so one of the parents took me out side cause i was crying. The parent left me to take the call and the lady in white came back and said she was sorry she startled me…. Of course me being little I asked what startled meant. She replied she chuckled and said ” don’t fret about it little one”. We talked a little longer until she said she had to go and if I want to see her again to go to the palor. She walked in to the light house and the group came back not to long after…. I ask my teacher who the lady was and she said it was my imagination, it was not!!!! I know how I was talking to!!!!!!

Hi Lee,
What a great story. I really appreciate you sharing that. So many kids so have perceptions beyond the norm. Did you ever go back to the lighthouse as an adult?
